Allison Mack

At the rate the Hollywood sex scandals -- particularly the under-age sex scandals -- are proliferating, Hollywood is going to be holding its award ceremonies in a high school gymnasium and even then have plenty of room to accommodate the crowds.

And they've finally hit the geek contingent where we live. Allison Mack, the actress who portrayed the good-as-gold, girl-next-door confidante to a super-powered Clark Kent on SMALLVILLE has been named as a high ranking member of a so-called self-help group called NXIVM, which the New York Times recently outed as a cult that brands women. Acording to Britisth tabloid, The Sun, NXIVM founder Keith Rainere has an 'Emmy Award-winning actress' as a key recruiter for DOS, a subset of NXIVM that operates as a "master-slave hierarchy, with Raniere at the top, and Mack as his immediate subordinate."

Women "lucky enough" to get invited to the group are ordered to strip down so that they can be branded with a design that incorporates Raniere's and Mack's initials.

India Oxenberg, daughter of DYNASTY star CATHERINE OXENBERG, is a member of the group. Her mother has been seeking help from attorneys, as she is very outspoken against NXIVM, fearing that India is being blackmailed and starved (female recruits are restricted to less than 800 calories a day).
