Today is heating up and it seems like we have more trailers than a park in Kansas! Hit HBO series GAME OF THRONES has released a new trailer for the highly anticipated and long awaited Season 7!
Along with it came an announced release date of 7.16.17. So as the Summer months get heated up, expect the realm of the seven kingdoms to start cooling down. Winter is Coming after all.
Whether you're a fan of the books or just the tv show, the trailer shows what many of us knew was coming. A showdown of leaders from all over the realm. The trailer focuses on Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen and Cersei Lannister. It also appears to include our first look at Dragonstone's throne room.
Dragonstone was the original location for House Targaryen, which sat at the entrance of Blackwater Bay. Not far from King's Landing, Daenerys appears to be breathing (like a dragon?) down Cersei's neck. Meanwhile Jon remains in Winterfell, the northern most Castle where the White Walkers will encounter their first bit of opposition sans 'The Wall' that kept them out of Westeros.
As they all move with determination, the trailer ends with a cold breath and the image of the Night King, leader of the White Walkers.
Season 7 will be the first part of the end of the series. Building towards a battle that will ultimately determine who sits on the Iron Throne, 'The Song of Ice and Fire' is sure to end with an epic battle of good vs evil vs...dragons! Sorry, no dragons in the trailer but we all know they're coming!
Check out the trailer and prepare for war!
