From Variety:
Aquaman has officially landed.
Director Zack Snyder tweeted the first photo of Jason Momoa as DC Comics superhero Aquaman on Thursday night.
Momoa, ex-star of “Game of Thrones,” will appear in Snyder’s upcoming film “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” as well as the future Justice League films.
In the DC comic books, Aquaman is the king of the seven seas, hence the poster slogan.
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” hits theaters March 25, 2016.

Commentary: It's clear they are doing everything possible to ensure people don't think of SuperFriends "I talk with seahorses" Aquaman. The character looks like a total bad ass in these pictures with the scaled armor and the tattoos. I think it's definitely the right way to go, and this is coming from someone who actually likes Aquaman. Jason Momoa really does look great in the role, and I think DC can do well with this. I have been a little hesitant on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but if this is DC's vision for the movie, it goes a long way towards giving me some hope.
But, of course, as a huge Entourage fan, I need to disagree with the casting choice. VINNIE CHASE IS AQUAMAN!!!
