Fox releases creepy New Mutants trailer

Woke up this morning to find that Fox posted a NEW MUTANTS trailer in the wee hours of the night.

Commentary: I actually first talked about this a few months ago. I've been a NEW MUTANTS fan as long as I can remember. I give Fox a lot of credit for stepping outside of the box with their superhero movies. DEADPOOL, LOGAN, and now NEW MUTANTS are all very different from anything being done by Marvel Studios or DC. For NEW MUTANTS, they are going with a horror movie. The response has been a bit hit or miss...though it seems like a lot of the complainers probably never read much NEW MUTANTS. This is very much in the tone with the great DEMON BEAR arc from the original series. To me, it really feels like Bill Sienkiewicz's art come to life on the big screen.

I have been trying to not get overly hyped about this movie, just because I love NEW MUTANTS so much, but Fox is making that impossible. NEW MUTANTS is directed by Josh Boone and will be releaseed April 13, 2018 (another Friday the 13th like today).
