This agent escorts a government witness to a trial after being implicated in a mob boss's activities. But things gradually veer towards a dangerous turn when the pilot who is transporting them to the trial (played by Wahlberg) is revealed to be a hitman. This character is hired to assassinate the informant. After they overpower him, the three characters must fly on the aircraft together. They realize that they are being hunted by others who have determined to take them out. This edge-of-the-seat thriller is set to release in theaters on January 24 this year.

2. Den of Thieves 2: Pantera

This film is set to release on January 10, 2025. It belongs to the genres of action, crime, and drama. Directed by Christian Gudegast, this is a direct sequel to the 2018 production Den of Thieves. The plot is set right after the events of the first movie, following Sheriff Nicholas O’Brien, who is on the hunt for Donnie Wilson in Europe. The characters are played by Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr., respectively. In the film, Wilson, the criminal, is involved in the world of diamond thieves and the Panther mafias.

3. Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare

This movie will be released on January 13, 2025. It is the newest entry in the Twisted Childhood Universe. The series started with Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey. This film attempts a horror retelling of J.M. Barrie’s children’s tale, Peter Pan. In the film, Wendy Darling is on a journey to find her brother, Michael. The latter has been abducted by the evil Peter Pan. The character of Wendy is played by Megan Placito, while that of Peter Pan is played by Martin Portlock.

4. Wolf Man

Wolf Man is a horror genre production set to release on January 17, 2025. It is a reboot of the 1941 classic work The Wolf Man. The later movie follows the journey of Blake, a family man who relocates from San Francisco to Oregon after inheriting his childhood home after his estranged father mysteriously disappears. When the family arrives at the farmhouse, Blake’s childhood home, at night, they get attacked by an animal. It injures Blake, and he consequently starts to transform into a horrifying creature. This put his wife and daughter in great danger.

5. Companion

An unconventional, quirky, and thrilling work of romance, Companion will be released on January 31, 2025. This psychological thriller is written and directed by Drew Hancock. The plot features a twisted love story of Josh and Iris, the characters that are played by Jack Quaid and Sophie Thatcher, respectively. Josh keeps Iris close to him despite her not being willing to be with him, compelling her to do things that put her in grave danger. All of this, surprisingly, is done so that she can have a chance at saving her life.
