From Comic Book Resources:
Filming of the fourth season began just last week, and already photos have surfaced from The Flash that signal significant changes for the CW drama.
The photos, which are circulating on Twitter, reveal Wally West actor Keiynan Lonsdale wearing the red costume that Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen has sported since Season 2.
While Gustin’s return as The Flash is all but inevitable, there’s certainly precedence for Wally West assuming the mantle. After the apparent death of Barry Allen during DC Comics’ Crisis on Infinite Earths, Wally took his mentor’s place, becoming what many readers consider to be the definitive version of The Flash for nearly 25 years. With The CW’s iteration of Barry Allen trapped in the Speed Force, it makes perfect sense for Kid Flash to take on his mentor’s responsibilities, at least for time being.
Returning Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, The Flash stars stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin and Keiynan Lonsdale.

Commentary: The framing on these pictures are just awful for the most part. "LOOK! KID FLASH IS DRESSED AS FLASH! But of the four pictures I am posting, I will fail to get his face in the shot."
As the article says, I don't expect Grant Gustin to be gone all that long, but I absolutely love this. When I started reading comics in the late 80's/early 90's, Barry Allen was already long gone, and Wally West was my Flash. Keiynan Lonsdale has been doing a great job playing Wally. I am not quite sure how well this show would do if they did an entire season without Grant Gustin, just because fans are so used to him as THE FLASH, but I do think Lonsdale could headline the show for a few episodes without any real issues.
And I've never really liked the yellow Kid Flash costume, so if they keep Lonsdale in the costume even after Barry returns, I would be happy with that too.
