Hannah and Jules (Janelle Snow, Amanda Powell) realize the LGBTQ cliche they are: a married lesbian couple in the 90s adopting a boy named Rain Beau. But this story is more than your usual trope of obstacles against gay adoptions. Beau is diagnosed with a genetic disorder -- an extra Y chromosome -- which every doctor says predisposes a male to aggression.
Dealing with misunderstandings, behavioral issues, and their own pasts, Hannah and Jules struggle to stay together and stay true to their ideals of inclusivity. Rain Beau's End, starring Ed Asner and Sean Young, is a taut drama directed by Tracy Wren airing exclusively on the LGBTQ streaming service Lesflicks.
